The 13th Cyprus-Russia Gala
The 13th Cyprus-Russia Gala will take place in the Presidential Palace in Cyprus on Saturday 5th October 2019, under the high patronage of the First Lady of the Republic of Cyprus, Mrs. Andri Anastasiades.
The Gala – created by Ensemble Productions and the administration of the Cypriot government 13 years ago – has become one of the most significant events in Cyprus and one of the most important events related to Russia outside the country. It brings together cultural, political and business figures from both countries.
The 2019 Cyprus-Russia Charity Gala will be another significant cultural experience; a unique opportunity to appreciate the spirit of Russia and the hospitality of Cyprus. This memorable event, at the country’s most prestigious venue, the Presidential Palace, is dedicated to the cultural, political and business relationship between Cyprus and Russia.
Among the artists who performed in the previous Galas are:
Vladimir Spivakov and Moscow Virtuosi, The Turetsky Choir, Pelageya, Yuri Bashmet and Moscow Soloists, Zoe Nicolaidou, Igor Butman Jazz Quartet, Mashina Vremeni, Alkistis Protopsalti, Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, Larisa Dolina, Ljuba Kazarnovskaya, the Lundstrem Jazz Orchestra, Alexandar Rosenbaum, Antonis Remos, Despina Vandi, , Svetlana Zakharova, Ensemble Berezka, ballet ‘Theatrum Vitae’ by Ilya Zhivoy and many more famous artists.
The Cyprus-Russia Gala’s 2019 programme will include performances by a Russian Eurovision star and one of the most popular Russian singers today, Sergey Lazarev, the Bondarenko Brothers: virtuoso accordion duo from the Moscow State Academic Theatre of Nadezhda Babkina, Cypriot acclaimed Dionysos Dance Group and Eurovision star Elena Paparizou.

Since 2007, the Cyprus-Russia Gala has supported the Radiomarathon Foundation, which works in aid of children with special needs and their families. Once more, I thank you all for your generosity in purchasing tickets and making donations towards the charity”.
The First Lady of Cyprus, Mrs Andri Anastasiades, said:

The President of Cyprus, Mr. Nicos Anastasiades, said:
“This unique event celebrates the strong bonds and the deep-rooted friendship between Cyprus and Russia, but, above all, it significantly supports the mission of the Radiomarathon Foundation, to the benefit of children with special needs and their families.”
The amount of €20,000 and other funds raised through auction sales and donations will be given to Radiomarathon Foundation, which helps children with special needs and their families.
